Eric Mourlot: Art taught me how to ask myself questions and how to be happy

Over 500 000 lithographs of some of the greatest modernist painters of the 20th century are the pride of the Mourlot Collection – making it the biggest of its kind in the world. Some of these treasures are exhibited in Sofia at the Museum Gallery of Modern Art. Owner of the collection of Atelier Mourlot, established in 1852, is Eric Mourlot. He grew among modernist painters – listening to Picasso"s stories on his knees, receiving his fist box of paints from Miro, often visitng the home of Chagall with his grandfather – Fernand Mourlot.
